February Couples
In February, Couples in Christ continued its mission to teach the life-transforming principles of God’s Word concerning marriage on Thursday nights. On February 4th, the group learned about the keys to overcoming stress in marriage.
The Couples Ministry Valentine’s Celebration took place on the 11th with a focus on expressing and experiencing romance in marriage. At the February 18th service, Pastor Marc K. explained how couples can share the gospel together and reach others for Christ. The group continued their study on Couples in the Bible on the last Thursday of the month (the 25th), examining the lives of Abraham and Sarah.
All those who attended our Couples Valentine’s Celebration had a wonderful time. The evening began with a delicious potluck meal. The wives cooked their husbands’ favorite dishes and the husbands served their wives. After dinner, the group enjoyed a slideshow presentation showing a picture from each couple’s wedding. Several fun games were played during the evening including a Bible couples matching game, “The Most Romantic Couple,” and “The Most Captivating Marriage Proposal.”
Drawings for the beautiful table centerpieces were also held throughout the event. Pastor Marc K. shared the message, providing 3 key ingredients to foster romance in marriage. The event ended with Pastor Marc leading the group in a renewal of vows. click for photos
